Chiropractic is a natural approach to health care that involves restoring proper alignment and motion to the spine. A poorly aligned spine can result in not only back pain, but many other health problems. Chiropractors adjust the vertebrae of the spine, restoring function to all of the joints and removing any irritation to the nerves that are exiting the spine between the vertebrae.
you.
The same principles apply to Animals as to Humans:
Animal Chiropractors have extensive training in the diagnosis and treatment of joint, muscle and nerve problems in animals.
It is an animal chiropractors job to identify subluxations. If detected, they are corrected by using a high velocity, low amplitude, quick thrust into the proper direction of the joint. This event is done using the chiropractor's hands and is extremely specific to the plane of the joint in question. Correction of subluxations is called an adjustment.
Animals realize that there is a problem and will often aid the chiropractor in the adjustment. Most owners comment on how still their pet will sit during the examination and adjustment.
How long will it take?
After a thorough case history and chiropractic examination, the doctor will recommend a series of visits to help restore proper function. The program of care is different in each case however, animals tend to recover quite rapidly as a general rule. Some of the variants on which rate of recovery are based include: age, duration of the problem, type of damage sustained, compliance to care.

Cranial-Sacral Therapy is a gentle, hands-on method of evaluating and enhancing the functioning of a physiological body system called the CranioSacral system - comprised of the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord. The goal is to release compression in those areas which alleviate stress and pain. Using a soft touch, generally no greater than 5 grams, or about the weight of a nickel, practitioners release restrictions in the craniosacral system to improve the functioning of the central nervous system. What is Cold Laser Therapy?
Laser therapy is the use of monochromatic light emission from a low intensity laser diode or an array of high intensity super luminous diodes to treat musculoskeletal injuries, chronic and degenerative conditions and to heal wounds. The light source is place in contract with the skin allowing the photon energy to penetrate tissue, where it interacts with cellular function restoring normal cell function and enhancement of the body's healing process. Cold Laser Therapy differs from other modalities in that it has a curative effect on the body rather than simply symptom control.
What are the Effects of Cold Laser Therapy?

Long Term Effects:
What conditions does Cold Laser treat?
Laser therapy has been valuable in the treatment of a variety of conditions, including:
Soft tissue injuries
Degenerative joint conditions
Neurogenic pain
Is Cold Laser Therapy harmful or painful?
Lasers used for tissue stimulation have insufficient strength to damage cells. However, as the laser beam is quite bright, the patient should avoid starting directly at the beam as it may irritate the retina of the eye. In over twenty years of clinical use, low power lasers have not been found to cause any adverse effects. Also, low power lasers do not produce heat. Therefore when the laser contacts the skin, the patient feels no warmth or burning. Although the light may stimulate certain nerves, most people feel nothing during the treatment.
How many treatments are necessary to notice results?
Treatment plans vary from 5 to 25 visits depending on the type of injury. Acute conditions respond more quickly than chronic conditions. While some patients feel improvement right from the start, it may take a few visits to notice significant improvement.
